Dino kale is also known as "dinosaur" and "lacinato" kale. A member of the Cabbage family, this heirloom variety of kale has a very textured or bumpy leaf, which is how it got its name. The Dino kale has a very dark forest green color and is hardy. Dino kale has a tender texture and offers a mild green flavor.
