The Khadrawi, or Khadrawy, date palm is botanically classified as Phoenix dactylifera. They are prized above all other dates for their extremely silky, melt-in-your-mouth consistency. Though sweet and sugary all throughout the harvest season, the Khadrawi is an especially coveted treat at the very end of autumn when the sugars crystalize giving it a pleasant crunchy bite.
