Description/Taste
The Persian mulberry is produced on a tree or shrub and is botanically known as Morus nigra. Also known as the Black mulberry, the Persian mulberry grows to over 1 inch in length and has deeply colored dark outer skin. Resembling a blackberry in shape, the Persian mulberry offers a balanced sweet as well as tart flavor.
