Golden Cypress greens is the latest item from Sunny Greens of Vista CA. 10 to 12 centimeters long, these beautifully vibrant golden yellow shoots have a soft flexible texture with plush multiple stems and an upright appearance. Harvested from the fresh tender growth of mature Cypress trees, the sprigs have variegated hues of green, yellow, and ivory. Coming from a coniferous evergreen tree, they emit a pleasing pine scent when rubbed or gently crushed. This is the most beautiful of the Sunny Greens line of Cypress greens. Golden Cypress is offered as a decorative beverage garnish.

Golden Cypress is a vibrant colorful beverage garnish introduced in the summer of 2024 by Kelly Sasuga from Sunny Greens in San Diego, California. These fresh harvested sprigs are the new growth tips of mature Cypress trees cultivated by Sunny Greens. These innovative specialty garnishes were specifically developed to be utilized as beverage garnishes. They have a refreshing piney scent. Golden Cypress is durable, with an exceptionally long shelf-life. Due to limited quantities, Golden Cypress is currently only available as a component of Sunny Greens’ Cypress Mix.

The idea to utilize Golden Cypress as a decorative garnish came from Sunny Greens of San Diego, California. These beautiful greens were introduced in limited quantities in the summer of 2024 by Kelly Sasuga, owner of Sunny Greens. The Sasuga family has a long time, mutually beneficial history with Specialty Produce.
