Applications
The Pork Chop tomato is a thin-skinned, low-acid tomato with sweet, mild citrus-like flavor, and is sure to please tomato-lovers with sensitive stomachs. Like other beefsteak-type tomatoes, its thick, meaty slices are wonderful on sandwiches or burgers. It can even be cooked into a bright and flavorful yellow tomato sauce! Tomatoes pair well with both savory and sweet herbs, as well as soft cheeses. Store tomatoes at room temperature until ripe, after which refrigeration can be used to slow the process of decay and prevent further ripening.
