Description/Taste
Gold beets are the known for their sweet, slightly earthy flavor with a smooth and creamy texture when cooked. The flesh of the Gold beet is bright yellow and retains its color when cooked, and unlike Red beets, its coloring does not bleed. Beet greens have a similar semi-bitter flavor to Swiss chard.
Seasons/Availability
Gold beets are available year-round with peak season occurring mid-summer through fall.
