Description/Taste
Frog hollow considers the Flavor King pluot to be the best variety they grow. It is a dark-skinned pluot with red flesh. It has an intense rich flavor combined with sweet, spicy tones that are reminiscent of the Santa Rosa. The Flavor King also has a nice acid bite and firm texture that softens beautifully as the fruit continues to ripen. It is amazing eaten out of hand but equally as good for baking applications.

The Flavor King pluots are available mid August through September.
