Description/Taste
Flavorosa Pluots are deep purple in color with amber shoulders at the stem end. It’s smooth, thin skin is firm. The red flesh is juicy with a tart forward flavor followed by a mild sweet flavor.

Flavorosa pluots are available from spring into fall.
Current Facts
Flavorosa pluots are a hybrid between the apricot and plum. Pluots were developed in the late 20th century by Floyd Zaiger. Zaiger bred the plumcot with a plum to create the pluot, which is three-fifths plum and two-fifths apricot.
