Description/Taste
Murray Family Farms has been family owned and operated by four different generations of the Murray family. The farm is in Bakersfield, California, and is known for growing a large variety of specialty vegetables, citrus, stone fruit, and tropical fruits and vegetables. GG1 cherries have dark skin and a plump round shape. Larger than other varieties, GG1 cherries have a light red, juicy flesh. GG1 cherries have a high sugar content and acidity, giving a unique overall sweet flavor with light tart notes.
