Flavor Royale pluots have a green-yellow skin with crimson speckles. It is considered a large variety pluot, weighing about 5-6 oz. The bright red flesh is extremely juicy with a sweet flavor.

Current Facts
Pluot is the registered trademark name given to a stonefruit that was developed by Floyd Zaiger of Zaiger Genetics in 1989. Zaiger developed the original pluot from plum and apricot lineage. Flavor Royale pluots need to be hand pollinated.
