Lemon cucumbers are given this name due to their lemon-like shape and yellow outer skin. Botanically known as Cucumis sativus, the Lemon cucumber are a fast maturing fruit that can reach the size of a baseball. The inner flesh of the Lemon cucumber is crisp offering a small amount of seeds, and an overall sweet cucumber flavor.
