Cocktail grapefruits are a cross between the Frua mandarin orange and the Siamese Sweet pomelo. The Cocktail grapefruit is also known as the Mandelo. Cocktail grapefruits are smaller in size, have a light yellow outer skin with a medium thick rind. The inner flesh of the Cocktail grapefruit is a yellow orange color and is very juicy. Cocktail grapefruits are less acidic than other varieties and offers a sweet mildly tart flavor.
