Description/Taste
Coleman Family Farms is a multi-generational farm growing a variety of herbs, vegetables, and edible flowers in two locations: Ventura and Carpinteria, California. The Coleman family has been farming in Central California since 1963, using biodiverse and pesticide-free farming practices. Fennel is an upright plant with dark green stalks that grow vertically from a layered bulb. While all parts of the plant are edible, the rounded, layered bulb is most often consumed. Coleman Family Farms Fennel has a fragrant licorice aroma and a sweet anise flavor with grass, earth, and citrus notes. The texture is crisp and succulent.
