Mini Crown™ Lettuce Mix is petite in size, approximately 12 to 15 centimeters in length, and is comprised of 6 to 8 immature tender leaves with delicate, crunchy stems that converge at a central base. The leaves range in shape from lanceolate and tapered, flat and oval, cordate and curved, to serrated and frilly. The green bear a soft, crisp, succulent, and tender consistency. The leaves are also smooth, pliable, and delicate, varying in color from dark green, bright green, purple-green to a deep red, burgundy hue. Within the mix, each crown has a distinct flavor, including Lollo Rossa, Tom Thumb, Freckles, and Radicchio, but in combination, the mix provides a zesty blend of earthy, pungent, peppery, and nutty flavors with a clean and vegetal finish.
