Crows Pass Farm's Tahitian squash is a "pure" seed variety, meaning that there is no cross pollination. This particular farm's seed has been traced back to the 1940's where it was brought from Tahiti to the United States by a World War II soldier. This true Tahitian squash ranges from 5-7 pounds and has a very small seed cavity. The small seed cavity means that this squash gives an extremely high yield of meat. Tahitian squash offers a very sweet flavor due to the high sugar content and has a dark orange inner flesh.
Tahitian squash is available in the early to mid-fall.
