Description/Taste
Tangelos are a hybrid citrus, which is a cross between the Mandarin orange and the Pummelo. The Tangelo can range from the size of a grapefruit to the smaller size of a Sweet orange. The outer skin of the Tangelo is a deep orange with an easy to peel rind. The Tangelo has a orange inner flesh, that is very juicy and offers a unique taste. Tangelos offer a slightly acidic flavor with sweet citrus notes.
