Description/Taste
Endive Violet Flash™ is small in size, averaging 10 to 12 centimeters in length, and is elongated, slender, and lanceolate in shape. The tender, flexible leaves have smooth, curving edges that taper to a small point at the non-stem end and can range in color from solid royal purple or bight violet to multiple shades of purple with stripes. When consumed fresh, Endive Violet Flash™ is crisp, succulent, and juicy with a mild, slightly bitter taste.

Created in the late 1990s and early 2000s, Endive Violet Flash™ is a relatively new variety that is known for its bright, vivid hues and mild bite and is commonly used to add color, texture, and artistic elements to culinary dishes.

Applications
Endive Violet Flash™ is best suited for fresh applications as its delicate nature cannot withstand high heat preparations.
