Description/Taste
Wild arugula with roots produces several deeply serrated, lobed leaves attached to slender, light green, upright stems that connect to a creamy brown tapered root. The stems of Wild arugula are crisp and juicy while the leaves are soft and tender. Wild arugula has a spicier more intense flavor than that of cultivated arugula. The peppery bite found in Wild arugula is from the natural chemical known as isothiocyanates.
