Description/Taste
The Bearss lime is known by many common names including the Persian and Tahitian lime. The Bearss lime is approximately 2 to 2.5 inches in diameter and are considered to be hardy. The outer skin of the Bearss lime is thin and turns to a light yellow when ripe. The inner flesh of the Bearss lime has a juicy consistency and offers a sweet-tart flavor.
Seasons/Availability
The Bearss lime is available in the mid-fall and throughout the winter months.
