Micro Kinome leaves are small in size and are ovate to elliptic in shape with serrated edges tapering to a small point on the non-stem end. The vibrant green leaves are pinnately arranged and grow close together along the slender, light green stem, and have a waxy, shiny appearance on the surface. Micro Kinome leaves are fragrant with a light, citrus aroma and are crisp and tender with a fresh green, minty, and peppery taste with notes of lime and a mild, lingering heat.

Micro Kinome are young, edible leaves that are a part of a line of specialty greens grown by Fresh Origins Farm, the leading national producer of both common and unique microgreens, located in San Diego, California. Harvested approximately 14-25 days after sowing, Micro Kinome leaves are cultivated in greenhouses that allow for natural sunlight and continuous air circulation, which is an ideal climate for optimum growth and year-round production. Micro Kinome leaves are commonly used fresh as a garnish to add bright, peppery flavors and a crisp, tender texture to culinary dishes.
